As we're heading to our first day of swimming lessons, Matt & Zach lean in to me and say in low voices...
"Mom, are you ever going to buy us a Speedo?"
Me: "Do you want me to?"
M & Z (in rather loud voices): "Noooooooo!"
Me: "WHEW!"
We went to the Pizza Factory for dinner last night with John's family...
Sam-"Dad, this is awesomer than McDonalds!"
That says A LOT coming from a 5 year old.
What Sam said to me after a simple/normal response to a question...
"Stop talking like that, Mom. You sound like a nerd."

Yesterday I found a bunch of wrappers (where food is NOT allowed) and found Lizzie walking around with a cookie at 10am. Her new trick is taking whatever snack/treat she can get her hands on & being ever so kind, gets one for each of her brothers. Even though they are fully aware of where food is and is not allowed their response to the wrappers & crumbs...
"Lizzie said we could."

I love that. Lizzie said we could. Zach tries to pull that one too, Brooklyn taught me to do it. Oh then it's ok. I am glad Sam thought the Pizza Factory was awesomer than Mcdonalds. Cause Mcdonalds is pretty dang awesome.gag

My oldest had a speedo for swim team last year. He liked it a little too much.

A week ago Dax came over to tell me that Tess peed on the floor...seing how Tess has a diaper snugly wrapped around her and Dax had on underwear I am SURE it was Tess who peed on the floor.
