I caught a glimpse of her today and realized that she is a toddler now...that is good and bad.. She actually pushed someone out of her way in the hall today at church as she headed for the nursery (thankfully, it was a friend who loves little Liz, and thought it was hilarious!) She's a pretty tough cookie. She can keep up with the boys without any problem, she LOVES to wrestle with John, if there is a puddle or a pile of dirt within her reach, she is in heaven. HOWEVER...she appreciates bracelets, bows, and baby dolls...YAY!!

Tutu CUTE...
What's one of the greatest things about having a girl?
THIS...
and especially THIS!!!
Now, let me just say that not every afternoon is pink and fluffy (like this particular afternoon)...we have most DEFINITELY entered the "I am woman, hear me roar" mode with this little one, BUT...when pink, fluffy afternoons come along I have to photograph them. Thanks to my good friend for the tutu instructions! It turned out so well that a rainbow of different colored tutu's just might replace her entire wardrobe!

Another first day...
Let's not forget Sam's first day of preschool!! (like I ever would..yippeeeeee!) We had to repeat all of the same "firsts" for him that we did a week ago for Matt & Zach...the picture, the traditional first day of school cake (cupcakes are in the oven right now & they smell FABULOUS!), spikey hair, etc... He was excited and he was lookin' good...
How cool are these shoes?

WELCOME HOME EVAN!!!
Evan (my nephew) just returned from the Oklahoma, Tulsa mission on Saturday and flew here today so he could start school at BYU tomorrow! (YAY!!!) I think it goes without saying that the boys were SOOOOOOOO excited to see him! (see video above) They LOVE him and look up to him and their other cousins so much.
We feel very lucky that we'll get to spend time with Evan, Jordan and Mal this year. And Evan...the boys can't wait to "LAY YOU OUT!!"
