The face says it all...

This funny little kid can at times be my "very best friend" and at times be my nemesis. He NEVER ceases to surprise me: with his language (world's biggest 4 year old potty mouth), with his actions, and even at times with his sweetness... go figure! Sam definitely keeps me busy (and keeps me questioning my parenting skills). He is the kid that, while his parents are cringing and apologizing, everyone else is loving the cheap entertainment he provides.

On this particular day he was having the snails give each other piggy-back rides. Hey-whatever keeps him busy..

Happy 101 Grandma...

We went to Grandma Olsen's 101st Birthday Party this weekend. It is so great that the kids know her. The boys love telling anyone who will listen that they have a Great Grandma who is over 100 years old!

Hard Working Boys..

Zach and Matt have been working sooooooo hard to earn money for the much sought after Transformer toys (after a statement from their mean mom that no toys would enter the house-at the expense of their parents-until Christmas.) They were given a list of extra jobs they could do that paid $1-$2 a piece..sweeping the porch, pulling weeds, reading to Sam (I know...sad...but it totally worked), washing the car, etc. They got busy washing the car one day to earn $2 a each. The up side..it kept them busy for a good hour, the down side..it cost me $6 and my car was dirtier than it was before they started..
