Sam informed me not too long ago that he was getting too old for his fire truck bedding and may he pleeeaaaase have something new.

Wait...aren't you still {like} 4 years old and waaay in to fire trucks???

As a matter of fact, he just turned 7 and is, in fact, too old for that stuff.

Thank you Ikea for having exactly what he liked, in the right color, so painting the walls was not necessary.

freeze time...

Yea, still here. Just busy.

I have been thinking a lot lately about the little people in my life. You know, the ones who are keeping life extremely busy these days...if I could just freeze them at the ages they are right now, I would be ok with that.

Matt & Zach turn 12 in a few weeks. What??? NO! I would like to keep them right where they are, please.

Sam is getting bigger and taller every day. I don't want him to lose his little boy face and baby teeth.

And the baby...well, she's not much of one any more. Bummer. She is growing up, too.

This is all happening waaaay too fast for my liking.

On another note...I have so much catching up to do on this blog I don't even know where to begin. This is exactly why I gave up scrapbooking years ago. ugh.
