"FOURTH GRADE IS THE BEST!!!"

That's what I heard (in unison) as they walked in the front door from their first day of fourth grade....WHEW!!!! Let's just hope the enthusiasm lasts...



Going, going, GONE....

The boys would have stayed on the tube ALL DAY...and pretty much did!

A sweet, soft little voice kept saying "Weeeeeeeee!"

She had sand in places.....and will have sand in places for a while!

See Mom, regardless of anything that occurred when we were young, we really do like each other!

One for the blog...

So we're driving in the car the other day and Sam is paying a lot of attention to the car in front of us...the driver was talking and moving his hand around a lot. Sam's checking it out and says, "Who is that guy waving to?...Oh, I know, he's waving to my 'hot mom' in the front seat."

You know, as long as he remembers what is truely important in life...make good choices, be nice, his mom is hot...he'll be just fine!!!!!

Land of 10,000 lakes...

A FABULOUS trip to Minneapolis to visit family....Liz and I had sooooo much fun hanging out with our Minnesota family that we only get to see once a year. We shopped and played and shopped and played and shopped and played! (the picture above is the view from the kitchen window of their backyard..Ahhhhh!)

Taking flight...

This was" little Lizzie Vi's " first airplane ride....Tylenol anyone? Need I say more?

I have know idea what this outfit was all about, but hilarious none-the-less and DEFINITELY worth sharing!!

Sam, Sam, the Swimmer Man...

In three weeks time Sam has gone from me having to hand him to his teacher in the pool, to not wanting to get out of the pool when lessons are over. Instead of absolutely fighting me to get his swimming suit on he now puts it on -happily- by himself!!!! Yay Sam!!!

I think when he thought of swimming lessons he thought he would have to do everything Matt & Zach can do in the pool and he didn't want any part of it. He's doing great, and it turns out, he's quite a little fish! Funny...this week fish...last week rabid dog (he bit the neighbor kid)...I'll take fish!!!!!!!!!!

This song "Everything" by Michael Buble is my new favorite tune to listen to. I'm sure when Michael sings it he's crooning to some lucky girl, when I sing it (rather pathetically) I'm singing it to these guys...my EVERYTHINGS!

A few things I've learned this week...

..."washable" markers are a hoax; no matter how much you yell (yes, I said yell) at a 4 year old he can ALWAYS out- yell you; working out for an hour at the gym does NOT necessarily mean you've dropped a size; The Childrens Place is having a fabulous sale on boys jeans; it would probably be more economical to tape ten dollar bills on my sweet baby girls body than to continue buying her Fall/Winter wardrobe (but not nearly as much fun and definitely not as cute!!!) Just wanted to share!
