stranded...

Somebody (Zach) left his backpack on the middle of the snow covered lawn one day after school...
Somebody's mom noticed it sitting out there & sent him outside to retrieve it.
Somebody didn't put shoes on, made it halfway to the backpack & then jumped on a rock to save his freezing feet.
(I love the above pic. The "What am I going to do now?" look. He didn't know I was watching...)
I went out to offer my assistance, but first I HAD to photo document it.
(This is the "Hurry up and take the picture mom because my feet are FREEZING." look.)
Bet somebody never makes that mistake again...
until next time, that is.

Too funny! Look at all that snow you have. I had to turn on my a/c in the car today.

It's a good thing somebody's mom noticed the backpack before it sat out there all night! :-)

I think that's the only mistake he's ever made, other than that. :)

Somebody is a good sport to let his mom photograph him on the deserted island. I guess it was worth a couple of pictures to be rescued.

Ahh, life lessons. Some are fun, others, not so fun!

Ugh. I wouldn't trade my brown grass for your snow, no siree.

And your son is like my boys - shorts in the winter!

Silly silly boy. Hopefully his school papers were still dry inside his backpack. I swear girls would never do anything like this!

BRRRR. Makes me cold just looking at it!

That is classic! I can't believe you captured that all on film.

BTW: A friend of yours (Jamie Pyatt) moved into our ward. She's a doll. Small world!!!

I know. When is it officially cold enough for long pants? That's what I want to know! Cute picture story..
