My kids each have their own sleeping bag.
They love their sleeping bags.
On weekends they get to sleep out in the family room in the beloved sleeping bags.
On boring winter days when we are stuck inside and in need of entertainment, they get to ride said sleeping bags down the stairs.
Not any more...(the cheek, the nose & the forehead. Oops.)
When life really hates you, you injure your thumb, as well.
Tomorrow I think we'll go back to video games & movies.

ouch!! I am sure that will keep them off the sleeping bags for at least a week!!!
Poor Kid...that was brutal.

Wait, would they have normally been in school when they were playing in the sleeping bags? It's early-outs fault! He's got a while to go, let him go til he breaks his arm. Then the fun will finally have to end.

Ouch! At least it was a big kid and not a little one that got hurt! I'll bet he gets a lot of attention at school for his injuries! Just put a sign at the top of your stairs "ride at your own risk"!

My kids will never know the pleasure of that thanks to me trying that in college and putting my feet through the landing wall. We told the maintenance man that our vacuum fell down the stairs.

He is such a handsome young man...even when he looks like he has been beaten about the head, he is still very good looking. I mean it!
I so remember as a kid sliding down the stairs on our sleeping bags. Definitely good times. To bad about the injuries though, at least he got them doing something fun.....
Oh those sleeping bags are pretty slippery. Hasn't everyone slid down the stairs in a sleeping bag?
That's true about thumb injuries.
Everybody needs to take a good beating going down the stairs in their sleeping bags to really embrace childhood. Don't you think?
That is some serious carnage!!
They could still figure out a way to slide down the stairs on the box of a movie so don't count them out just because you've taken away the video games :)
