I'd like to thank you, Guitar Hero (and the big brothers of M & Z's best friend), for introducing such amazing musicians to my children (notice how I take no blame...Santa brought it for crying out loud).
Today in primary the teachers were talking about what not to put into our bodies (drugs & alcohol). My 5 year old responded..."Ozzy Osbourne does drugs!"
A proud moment.

Ha ha! I'd just be proud at the fact that he knows who Ozzy Osbourne is! ;)
That is freaking funny!
Leave it to little man Sam - Ozzy does drugs - that's great!
I think they need an 'old people' version of Guitar Hero.....James Taylor, Elton John, Billy Joel. I have to say, though, that Ozzy is certainly a good example for our children of what NOT to do!! (and I think they should add a keyboard to Rock Band, too!)
That is hilarious! I love being in primary just for the things that come out of mouths.
Oh, that's too funny! That's the best part of being in primary though...just hearing the random stuff the kids say :-)!
I LOVE SAM. What a funny kid! And don't worry, those primary leaders got a good (and probably well-deserved) guffaw out of that one.
that is awesome - the best part about being in Primary is to REALLY learn about the families!!
My 5 year old, Brian and Sam simply must get together. They are brothers from different mothers, I tell ya.
I loved the ending line, "A proud moment." *sigh* We have had many such moments around here.
That is so funny! I would have liked to see the look on that Primary sisters' face.
I love Sammy.
Maybe he could do a guitar solo sometime in Primary!!!! There's got to be at least one song on there without any swear words. You could always bleep out the swear words too!!
That is AWESOME! Maybe he will be able to see where drugs got Ozzy - hanging with a walker at 50. In Meg's nursery class they asked who was the president of our church and she said Barack Obama - not Pres. Monson or Hinckely - how sad is that!?
I love the idea of having the old people version. Don't forget Seals&Crofts!
Once day, a few years back, I picked up Braden from nursery. His teachers were so impressed he knew all the words to "Surrender" by Cheap Trick. I think I turned about a million shades of red.
We bought guitar hero for the newlyweds for Christmas. Lauren says "Gee thanks Mom, you might never have grandchildren now." I wonder if Skyler will give it back?
