Love, love, love her!
I usually restrain myself from getting into controversial issues in this type of forum, but about every 4 years...around election time...I get a little passionate & fired up (shall we say?)I have very few regrets...I hope this isn't one of them.
She is John McCain's VP choice for the upcoming election.
In my (not so) humble opinion...
HE MADE A GREAT CHOICE!!!
I am in no way shape or form a feminist.
However, I strongly admire a woman who:
a. fights for what she believes in
b. stands strong, despite any backlash
c. is a proud mom
d. is an amazing leader
I've spent the afternoon reading up on her (having only heard of her once before), and she is all of those things.
My two favorite quotes from her speech today..
"People of America expect us to serve for the right reasons."
"We are expected to govern with integrity, and good will."
Again, LOVE her.
My only qualm?
She needs a new "do"
Someone on McCain's staff needs to get a hold of her and take her to a great hairdresser.

I am glad to get others opinions on her. I am not up on the political world right now but I need to start doing my research. I love your posts. Always interesting.
p.s. She needs a little AMW love on her hair.
I totaly love her too, I am just concerned that she has no expirience. But LOVE her politics!
I think Sarah Palin might actually be Tina Fey. See for yourself
ha, john is right. she does look kind of like Tina Fey. yeah, her hair needs some help, but she is a cute lady
you are so funny!! Okay I tagged you Annemarie...you'll have to check out my blog for this one!!
From what I've read, she sounds great too. Although, I have to admit I'm a little dissapointed that McCain didn't choose Romney, but whatever. I'm partial.
I agree about the hair. Maybe you should get a hold of her and do it.
That was me that just deleted my comment. I think I got a little too passionate:(
I'll try again:
I think Sarah Palin is an excellent choice.
I would have loved Romney as well, but I think that girl is one sharp cookie. I've had Fox News on all day and I'm so impressed with all the reports on her and her speech was amazing!
Brilliant choice for VP. But I want to bust her chip clip hair clip in two. In fact I think all scrunchies and chip clips must be outlawed. Still, she's my new hero.
I think your next post should be some "options" for her from the instyle website.
Thank you for sharing your political and beautifying insights all in one great post!!
Come to think of it...why isn't there a "Total Washington Extreme Makeover" show? There are a lot of people who could use some help...
I'm glad that John mentioned Tina Fey because that is who I was thinking about but couldn't put her face to name. Maybe that's hip for Alaska! Can you believe she has a baby the same age as mine? She's gotta have a nanny!
Ok, Holly left a comment at my blog about your post, so I had to mosey on over here and see. I posted about her, too and I LOVE LOVE her!! Glad I'm not alone. I agree about the hair, but in reading more about her last night, I saw that she does wear it down sometimes.
I won't for someone because of their party affiliation, their sex or their color. But I WILL vote for someone who has integrity and hutzpaa...I'm voting for them and hoping he kicks the bucket. (Can't believe I said that!! Oh yeah, I can believe it.)
Maybe you should be sending a portfolio to the GOP.
I agree. She seems amazing. Needs a new hairdo and soem contacts and she'd be a knockout.
AMEN SISTA!!!
Diane's comment cracked me up...how she, "wants to crack her chip clip hair in two." I am still laughing about that.
Ya gotta love the hair! ha ha ha! She's still back in the 80's....
Have her come to Italy to my hair dresser, he is a MIRACLE WORKER!!!!!
Of course you can - thanks for stopping by. I tend to get fired up a lot too and I can rarely contain myself. Politics are my weakness. ☺
Oh and chocolate.
I really don't know too much about her, but she seems like a great choice!!
