Kid goes to school with $4.00 to spend at the book fair.
Kid gives $2.00 away to a couple of moochers.
Kid comes home with a $6.00 book & two sweet hi-lighters...
You do the math?!?!?
All I know is this kid will accompany me on any & all shopping trips when I really want to score a deal.
(After "kid" got a tongue lashing from mom about swindling, handouts & mooching...mom was able to have a little laugh about it)

I clicked on to compliment your very, very cute haircut, then I read everything on Eliza's wish. Now I can't see for the tears. I have a disabled daughter and a husband that has a terminal cancer. I loved the quote I saw about courage. I am so happy I was blurking. I'll be back, your family is darling.
I have worked the book fair before and can see how that can happen - I am always impressed with a kid who can make the most out of a buck!!
btw- sams club always has auctions online - the link is on that post - and no I didn't win (YET) they have more of them so I will try again!
