pass the salt...

We have had so many yucky weather days. All winter Sam would tell me that if he were in charge of the earth he would make every day sunny & warm (I see a future of living in warm climates for this kid). He finally decided to make the best of one more gloomy day by tormenting...I mean playing with... some snails.

John & I were laughing pretty hard!

Strike three...

That's right...baseball is in "full swing" (he he) at our house.

I could NOT get one serious pic of them.

See?

The baseball field AKA, our second home has been good to us this season. The boys all have great coaches, plenty (but not too much) of practice time. Generous team parents that treat them to batting cages & lunch for 1/2 of a Saturday, and lots & lots of FUN...and a few strikes.

And I'd really like to thank...

the "SNACK SHACK" for feeding my family a healthy, cheap, filling meal atleast once a week. (ok, the cheap part is true)

PLAY BALL!

cool status...GONE!

This is what your 2 year old does when you have an 80's flashback & start singing (& dancing...oh yea) to WHAM! in your car. There goes my "cool mom" status...whatever. Oh, and don't laugh or mock. You KNOW you've done it...maybe not to WHAM, but you've done it.

Reasons I LOVE being a mom...

Who knew that 4 little people could bring so much joy into my life. I feel so lucky to be THEIR mom & I tell them that as often as I can. (probably not often enough)
I LOVE you Matt, Zach, Sam & Lizzie!

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!

must haves...

A few things that are a must have in my house...if these things are not present, the stars just do NOT align and I'm just flat out cranky.

An assortment of cereal (at least 4-5 boxes) And yes, I do buy the sugar kind.

What can I say...I have a problem.

{Good} Hair Products...I buy in bulk whenever possible.

Diapers...a no brainer.

NOW...

The must have NOTS...

If you bring any or all of these things into my house, we may or may not remain friends.

I have white counter tops and white cupboards and 4 little kids...enough said.

Again...4 kids and a white kitchen. Plus NO ONE can just pop one of these is their mouth...open up, eat the cream from one side, eat the cream from the other side, eat the cookie part (or not)...black crumbs EVERYWHERE!

Sam (4) had asked for this for his Birthday...I think not.

Yea, yea...I know...they're cute & loyal. They also shed, stink, chew and slobber. Sorry to any dog lovers. I don't mind them in YOUR house, just don't bring one to mine.

I'm sure any family members reading this are starting to get "funny" ideas about upcoming Birthdays around here. Let me just tell you that if you act on any of those "funny" ideas...payback will be UGLY!

Women's Conference...

...was AMAZING!!!!!!

Diane & I went to the our old stomping ground...BYU for a few days and had a blast! I have to say that being back on that campus for an extended period of time was CRAZY! Every time I turned a corner there were memories of being an out of control co ed...those stories I will save for another time!

Our humble (three day) living conditions...I can't believe that I lived in these dorms for a year and actually enjoyed it...LOVED it!!

You girls...are FAB-U-LOUS!!! I had sooooooo much fun hanging out with you!

Ahhhhh...such a lovely letter!! (I don't want any nasty comments from any of you "Red" fans...you know who you are...)

A little...ok, A LOT of shopping...the trunk was full, too...

To sum it up: I attended some amazing classes...I am ready to be mother of the year (he he); I attended a not so amazing class...anger management...it just made me MAD; made some fun, hilarious, AMAZING new friends; my kids are equipped with enough BYU paraphernalia to last them until they actually go there (again...no nasty comments...); ate way too many mint brownies; got a wave and a thumbs up from the Prophet (actually, everyone did, but as far as I'm concerned it was just for me...) and I cannot WAIT to go back for more next year!

And the re-entry...not too bad this time...!!
