Sam informed me not too long ago that he was getting too old for his fire truck bedding and may he pleeeaaaase have something new.
Wait...aren't you still {like} 4 years old and waaay in to fire trucks???

As a matter of fact, he just turned 7 and is, in fact, too old for that stuff.
Thank you Ikea for having exactly what he liked, in the right color, so painting the walls was not necessary.

It is very cute a big boyish, but I really like the fire trucks. I was sad when Zach didn't want cowboy in his room anymore. Why are they getting so big?
