We are doing our best to fill up our last days of Summer.
We took a trip to Provo/BYU to fill up an afternoon.
(there was a lot of movement so my pics stink.)
Evan & Lizzie wrestling.
If Evan is laying on the floor it's just an open invitation to pounce...right?
She thinks so.
Then we all went bowling!Jenni was so nice to Lizzie. She even gave up one of her turns for her.
That's love!

This blurry pic isn't my fault. It's the fault of the random guy I asked to take it.
No trip to BYU would be complete without a visit to the Creamery for some of the best ice cream ever. (unless your Sam & you pick a bag of cinnamon bears from the Book Store for your treat)
"The world is our campus." hee hee
We also had to make a stop at the Quicksilver Factory store where these boys have been waiting to go all Summer. If you have boys this age and live remotely close it's worth a trip. You don't even have to step on to Cougar territory to go there. Not that anyone has a problem with that, right?

BYU is always a fun trip. Especially the creamery! Glad you had fun!
So did they find any good stuff at the quiksilver store? I hope so. That is quite the big bag of cinnamon bears! they look delicious
How fun! Our visits to Utah are never complete with out a trip to the campus.
When were you there? We just went yesterday. And I even took my husband past the bowling alley so he could see where I learned all my expertise bowling skills back in the day. We went to the Creamery on 9th East. Because I also had to show my kids where I lived for one semester as a freshman . . . Snow Hall.
i smell some brainwashing going on.
P.U.
can you say AGGIES, anyone?
My cougar heart is just pounding. Ohhh...the memories. I can hardly believe my baby will be a cougar in a few weeks...maybe I will drown my sorrows at the Creamery!
You had a cute host and hostess. What a fun day.
Sam is a child after my own heart. Cinnamon Bears-YUM.
This is off of the subject but I saw your new profile picture elsewhere and LOVED it!
This looks so fun. I love that Evan wrestled with Lizzie. My kids are always pouncing on unsuspecting family members, too. Jenni is a sweetheart. I agree...nothing says love like giving your bowling turn ☺.
Good field trip idea. When are you taking them up to the U?
I spent 8 days in Utah and the closest my kids got to BYU was seeing the "Y" on the mountain as we drove by. There just wasn't enough time to do everything!! It looks like you guys had a great afternoon!!
Can you say BRAINWASHING?!?!? When do your people start back to school?
Cute pictures...although if your kids want to try real ice cream, let me take them up to Logan for a scoop of Aggie Ice Cream! :)
Way to Rise and Shout!
That creamery is the reason I gained the infamous freshman 15.
Yum.
I'm with Sam...cinnamon bears all the way!
My favorite favorite family field trips growing up were to BYU. I loved it there as a kid, as a coed and now as an (OLD) alum!!
Go cougs!
