So this kid...not a big eater.
At all.
She has a pretty interesting array of things she likes.
*plain pasta
*cheese (sometimes & usually only if it's grated)
*broccoli
*chicken salad sandwich (on whole grain bread with sunflower seeds & sprouts...I don't get it, either)
*cereal
*the occasional chicken nugget
**and all of this pretty much depends on her mood.
She's not into meat (what kid doesn't like a hamburger or a meatball???), she will, however eat most fruit.
This is my first picky eater. My boys will just about eat anything. I'm all about serving her what everyone else is having, like it or not. I'm not a short order cook, for crying out loud and will not make a separate meal. However, she is #4 and sometimes I am a slacker in that area. Don't judge.
Anywho...
She sampled a sandwich at the grocery store today. I told her it was chicken salad (even though it was actually roast beef & didn't look anything like chicken)
She loved it.
LOVED IT.
I still don't get it, but if she'll eat it, I'll buy it.

Ah the picky eater! Maddie is mine. Katie will eat just about anything. It is great. But I know how ya feel!
If they eat it, BUT it!
If we are talking about the guy at Richards, I love that sample guy. I also love Lizzie. Sweetest, cutest, ever!
That is so funny because we tell our kids that everything is chicken so they will at least try stuff!
I'm so glad I'm not alone and there is hope. I'm afraid Mackenzie eats Yogurt for breakfast, lunch and dinner and I think she would take an IV of chocolate milk if we let her.
I've got a bad eater too and it's surprising what I will do just to get something down her. I'm the meanest mom ever, but taking a 7 year old for weight checks is ridiculous which I've had to do so now she gets quesadillas for breakfast. She'll eat it.
I love the thumbs up picture! :)
My girls are TERRIBLY picky and it drives me crazy.
Maybe I'll try the Angus Beef. :)
She has a very discriminating palatte. Maybe she just loves sandwiches? I love her and I will give her anything she wants.
I wish I were picky like her. Food is my weakness. Our kids aren't picky, but we tell them everything is chicken and give them ketsup to go with it. It grosses me out that Dax dips his fish in ketsup, but whatever works.
OK. I'm totally hungry now and want that sandwich. My daughter is really picky too. I figure, oh well. She's not starving, she'll be OK.
Here's to branching out...one small sample at a time!
She sounds a lot like my 7 yr old. In fact, both of my boys haven't liked meat when they were really young. Even chicken nuggets. So weird.
She is adorable.
Sounds like my Payton. Good thing they are cute!
Welcome to my world! Great pics :)
I'm with her. Who wants hamburger when you can have peppered roast beef?
Why am I suddenly reminded of the Fancy Feast commercials about discriminating cats?
Gosh, those marketers were good.
She is so, so cute! I love those pictures of her.
She has a discerning palate. I am totally impressed with what she likes!
I know I have mentioned this before, but I love the way you cut and style her hair.
