Something exciting/entertaining/naughty usually happens when this character sits down to do his homework.
We were in a little bit of a rush to get this one done (which as ANY parent of a five year old knows...you can't rush ANYTHING.)He started out by writing an incomplete sentence. Easily corrected, right? WRONG. Especially if your rushed five year old gets mad if something on the homework needs to be changed. No matter how gentle or positive the delivery is from me. I had him re-read what he wrote and asked him what it needed. He didn't answer. I suggested adding "the" before "cat." Still, no answer...maybe a few choice words for me...from him, though. This went back and forth. He finally GRABBED the paper and added an "s" to cat. Smarty pants.
This was last night's homework. It speaks for itself.

His teacher is young and cute and thinks he's hilarious (he's lucky, this will not always be the case). Guess she'll get a good laugh today.
