meditation:
continuous and profound contemplation or musing on a subject or series of subjects of a deep or abstruse nature.
Sam has discovered meditation (apparently)
This is how you go about it...according to Sam.
"You sit, criss-cross applesauce your legs, close your eyes, put your thumb and first finger together and the rest of your fingers have to be up, try really hard not to laugh."
Yesterday Sam taught his new discovery to the Kindergarten class and this is how the teacher found said class sitting on the ground when she went to let them in from recess. (All but one kid who apparently wasn't a team player. Smart kid.)
I really hope his leadership skills serve him well someday.
He already has one follower...

Oh- and I got out to get you you new gift today!! YAY!
I will send it via USPS tomorrow --AFTER tax day. :)
I want to learn how to applesauce my legs! :)
I've been getting fliers for his yoga retreat in June....tell him I'm in!
I love that Sam!
I loved his step by step instructions, too. He is so dang cute.
Lizzie is a doll...just look at that concentration...amazing!
I love that Sam is part of my life!
That's totally funny! Does he do yoga too?
Seriously, every time I think about Sam eating nasty Slim Jims I crack up! Your kids are hilarious! Maybe all John's Diet Pepsi consumption has done some good after all...I get SO excited when I see that you've posted because I can hardly wait to see what the kids have done! Can I be their surrogate aunt or something?
Ask Sam how much he charged, we need some of that over here.
The stars pay big bucks in LA for a little meditation...so maybe he can strike it rich with his mad skills!!:)
Ohmmmm...
Just don't drink the Kool-Aid.
He is just like Evan. It could go either way. He will be the President of the United States or a mob boss. Gang Lord or Prophet.
maybe he and zach can meditate at their sleep over!
Maybe we should all meditate and get in touch with our inner souls!
Oh my gosh I laughed so hard! I love his explanation!!! Hilarious!
I can just picture the entire class (-1) out meditating on the playground. I'll bet the teacher never has that much luck getting the kids to sit still and be quiet! She should be thanking Sam for his creativity!
That is so funny. And a great skill to have.
That is so cute! Does sitting on the dining room table help?
