what's going on with us...

Little miss Lizzie Violet...
...is as sweet as ever. She has picked up a few choice phrases from her brothers that are not so cute, she is ecstatic that it is (almost) warm enough to play outside, and she changes into pajamas at least three times a day.

Sam earned a "late night" with his best buddy, Zach last Friday. He worked really hard at filling up a chart by being polite (somewhat), listening, and not teasing. Saturday morning...back to the old antics, adding cleptomaniac * to the mix. I have found/not been able to find remote controls, lip gloss, my cell phone, video chargers, etc. Somehow, Sam always has these things tucked away in his room...or is able to find them (in the garbage can). Nice.

He's also taking the coloring pages in Primary seriously.
This is "Mario" praying.

Matt & Zach (and their amazing Scout leader) have been working hard on their Arrow of Light.
...Ghourd bird houses...

Staying active at a wrestling clinic...(eventhough they are just standing around in the pic...)
...and ice skating.
They also have the 5th grade maturation program coming up next week. They have been begging us to miss it. Sorry boys.
John and I are trudging along. The kids asked us what we were doing/where we were going for FHE tonight. My response "We're going crazy." John's response "We're all going to bed early." If that tells you anything.
We are happy and healthy! What more could you want?

Lizzie is pretty in pink.

Sam's illustration is seriously hilarious!

Matt and Zach look intense at wrestling. I like their pink cheeks and ears.

Sick and Tired can respond however they want. You must be exhausted...

Lizzie is so smart! I would love to change into pj's in the middle of the day!

What is up with Sam taking/stashing everything?? I love the mario pic. Sounds like something my Sam would do (even if he is 17!)

Those two big boys are SO busy! What with maturation, wrestling, skating...

You are one busy woman!!

Fabulous update, Annemarie.

Lizzie is so adorable...seriously, when I see pictures of her I can hardly contol myself, I say, "Awwwwwwwwwww" out loud and my boys come to see.

You can tell Matt and Zach have been wrestling in the picture. I agree with Diane...I love the flushed cheeks and ears.

Ah, the maturation class. A rite of passage for children that age...my oldest begged me to let him out of it, too. No dice, Evan.

I laughed out loud at Super Mario praying. The mustache and uni-brow are fabulous.

My favorite is the ethnic Mario picture from primary. I'm all for equal representation. Your cutie is helping us remember that!

You gotta love those Maturation talks. They force you to admit your kids are really growing up!

What do you not do, Miss Annemarie?! You are amazing. I laughed so hard at Sam's drawing of Mario...classic. We'll all be waiting anxiously for the update after the maturation clinic! :)

Mario needs to pray, after all the violence he causes. I love that picture.
