We are singing the "no more pacifier" song at our house!!!! HALLELUJAH! Little Lizzie has been rather attached to her "bunnypac" (one word...pronounced "bunnypass"). She has a little white bunny that, along with the beloved pacifier, brings her great comfort. Well, the bunny is now flying solo. There is still one more purple pacifier "at large" in our home, and depending on who finds it first...it could be all out war. But for now, I am going to keep on singing my song!!

You go girl.......that is quite a milepost. Give her a kiss for me.
ENVY is the only word I can think of.
Aaaah....she is so sweet! I am SO happy for both of you that she has another attachment- makes it SO much easier! I'm right behind you....we'll see how soon I am brave enough!!!
Give me your advice! I need it.
This is so embarrassing, but my 4 and 3 year old still use it at night. I have tried everything but...I feel like a failed mom. What are your tricks?
I have tried to take them away but there is wailing and gnashing of teeth for days until I finally give in.
Martha, here's how it went down...she accidentally bit a hole in one of the 2 functioning pacifiers, and didn't like that one any more..she said it was "yucky" so...when the remaining one resurfaced, I snipped a hole in the side of that one, too (when she wasn't paying attention).. So, her ONLY options were "yucky". We tried giving it to a baby, NOPE! We tried throwing them away, NOPE! Somehow this way just made sense to her. Good luck! Hope you are continuing to sleep better!
I am so proud of you!! You are my hero! I hope to do it soon, but i probably won't. I think I might be attached to the thing...and I know Dane is!
Little Lizzie is growing up!! I'm a little sad.
I have been thinking of making the leap myself! For some reason I think it will be harder for me to take the darn thing away-it is just so convenient when trying to get well...anything done!
