...the big girl room.
(I cried when John took the crib apart. Yep.)
I was very relieved that the yellow worked out. In fact, I love it. I picked the color from the tiny bit of yellow on this pillow...then I crossed my fingers.
(the color...because I've been asked...is Behr Pismo Dunes)
I NEVER rely on the name of a color. I think that has very little to do with the acutal color. I usually hate the names given to paint. I just go and grab a handful of swatches, take them home, hang my favorites on the wall so I can see how they look in every light, then pick one. It's a pretty fool proof way of picking a color.

It is so darling! So chic! I can totally understand why she wants to go to bed every night! I can also understand the tears. They grow way too fast!!
It is absolutely perfect!
when we get out of the army and finally live somewhere long enough to own a home and decorate without having to undo all the work when we move out,
will you come do it for me?
thanks.
SO...SO...BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! It is so sad putting away the crib for the last time...but at least her enthusiasm can help buffer the blow :(
I LOVE what you have done! It looks fabulous!
LOVE it!!! I especially love that pillow!
so pretty!! I love the color and the bed and the bedding and everything! I promised the boys (like a year ago) that we would take down the crib and switch the rooms up THIS month!! I don't know if I am ready to take the crib down or start all the work, but this is motivating!
It looks better than I imagined. The bedding is adorable and is perfect with the wall color. It is a fabulous bedroom. You forgot to mention that you are all handy and assembled the bed by yourself!
Next fall when Brynn and Jordan are off to college I am totally repainting Jordan's blue room. I am over it but I can't change it until he gets back.
Little Lizzie looks lovely lounging...I got a little carried away with my illiteration.
Can I sleep on the trundle next time I come?
It's beautiful. Good work. Love the last pic of her struggling to get out. Or is it in?
That is so gorgeous! It is the perfect combination between little girl and sanctuary. I think the yellow looks so peaceful. YOu have really talented eye.
I turned out so so cute!
Her little room is super cute!
I wouldn't have expected anything less!

I LOVE it!!!! I love the color on the walls and I love the furniture you chose.
The pictures on the wall are so, so, sweet. Did John take those? I love the one of you with her.
I also love that window that says Elizabeth on it. You do such great work. Everything looks fabulous.
It is butter and sunshine mixed together.
Two of my favorite things.
Great job!
So cute, I can't believe that she is big enough for a big girl bed!
